For every square meter of carpet, over 130 PET plastic water bottles are recovered and recycled. The recycled PET plastic is shredded and melted into pellets, and then extruded into the soft, beautiful yarns woven into every Rols carpet.
Designed and manufactured in Spain from 100% recycled PET, the Rols collection has commercial ratings, indoor-outdoor flexibility, and sisal-look style.
We are proud to be the exclusive US distributor of Rols Carpets. Rols brings modern aesthetics and circular manufacturing practices to rug design.
For generations, Rols has created flooring with the next generation in mind.
From recycled PET yarns to repurposed materials, every Rols rug is made of single-component, sustainable materials.

First, let’s talk about PET. PET stands for polyethylene terephthalate and is a virgin plastic, meaning that raw materials were used in its creation. Its production creates carbon emissions and consumes a significant amount of energy. Recycled PET or rPet is recycled polyethylene terephthalate, a product made from post-consumer recycled materials.
Although recycling also requires energy, recycled PET is more sustainable since it reduces the reliance on non-renewable energy sources (raw materials) and diverts plastic waste from landfills, overall contributing to a circular economy. Instead of taking hundreds of years to decompose, PET plastic is rescued, reused, and recycled.
A rug crafted from recycled PET polyester yarns has many benefits, including:
Indoor-outdoor flexibility
Softness underfoot
Compatible with underfloor heating systems
Easy to clean
Contract grade and durable
Made from sustainable materials
Contributes to a circular economy
Sleek designs and inspiring colorways
The best way to clean any rug is to keep it clean in the first place. Time-tested practices like installing an entry way mat at entrances and removing shoes before entering the space go a long way toward keeping dirt, dust, and soil out of the rug or carpet. Regular vacuuming with a suction-only vacuum (no beater bar) reduces the build up of dirt and soil that could lead to stains. And of course, prompt attention to spills are a must for keeping your investment looking great. All Rols rugs come with thorough cleaning guidelines, including intensive cleaning and stain removal tips.
